Further to GuocoLand Limited’s (GLL) announcement of 5 April 2006 relating to the conditional en bloc purchase of Casa Rosita, a freehold property at 261, 263, 265, 267 and 269 Bukit Timah Road, Singapore, GLL wishes to announce that its downstream wholly-owned subsidiary, Fasidon Holdings Pte Ltd has today completed the acquisition of the said property for a consideration of S$280 million (collectively, the “Acquisition”).

The Acquisition was financed by internal resources and bank borrowings. The Acquisition is not expected to have any material effect on the GLL Group’s net tangible assets per share or earnings per share for the current financial year ending 30 June 2007.
